ST DC Hydraulic Quick Coupling
Characteristics
The smooth , open bore with no valving in either half offers minimal pressure drop and allows easy cleaning in applications where the same lines are used for more than one media .
HL couplers and nipples are machined from solid bar stock providing the quality coupling that is durable .
HL nipples are available in brass and zinc -Plated steel . The ball locking grooves of the steel HL nipples are case hardened for resistance to brinelling where high cycle rates and pressure surges are encountered .
The HL is an ‘’Interchange’’ coupling because the dimensionally and functionally can interch-ange with simiar couplings made by other manufactures.
A broad range of metals(brass ,steel and stainless steel)and seals materials allows their use with most fluids .
The ball locking mechanism with high number of balls to distributes the work load assures low wearing and good aligne ment of the couplings .

Installation and maintenance points
Pre-installation inspection: Before connecting, ensure the dust caps of the male plug and female socket are clean and free of contaminants, and check that the seals are intact.
Correct connection: Align the male plug with the female plug and insert it until you hear a clear "click" or feel the socket fully return to its original position, indicating that the connector is fully locked.
System purging: After the initial connection, slowly operate the equipment to purge the pipeline and eliminate cavitation.
Regular maintenance: During routine equipment maintenance, check the connector for external damage, abnormal wear, or leaks. Clean the dust caps regularly.
Seal replacement: When the seals reach the end of their service life or age due to media incompatibility, the seal kit can be replaced using a special tool. This eliminates the need to replace the entire connector body, making it economical and efficient.
