VEP Threaded Hydraulic Couplers - High Pressure, Connect Under Residual

VEP threaded hydraulic quick couplings feature thread-to-connect locking mechanism, fully eliminating brinelling failure caused by high-frequency impulse stress that ordinary ball-lock couplers suffer. Flat-face valving design on both halves delivers zero-leak sealing throughout connection and disconnection, with special nipple structure supporting direct connection under residual pressure up to 25 MPa. Ideal for excavators, construction machines, and heavy mobile equipment in high-pressure, high-vibration hydraulic circuits.

    Characteristics

    VEP threaded hydraulic quick couplings feature a new valve design that resists damage from high-flow and pressure impulse conditions, delivering advanced durability. A special nipple profile allows connection and disconnection under high residual pressure – no need to fully depressurize the system. The threaded sleeve locking mechanism requires manual engagement with matching male threads for a secure, vibration-proof hold. New chrome plating provides superior rust resistance. During connect and disconnect, flush valving mates both halves together, minimizing fluid loss and preventing air inclusion. An anti-blowout BFT bonded seal protects against seal failure in severe service environments. Machined from solid steel bar stock, VEP couplings are fully compatible with STUCCHI VEP Series.
